An African American history tour of Clarke and Warren Counties in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. This self-driving tour features historic African American sites such as schools, churches, neighborhoods, cemeteries, and businesses and more. The tour starts at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Naked Creek Colored School in Page County and ends at Sunset Hill School in Strasburg and covers a total of 29 sites. This tour can be done in sections depending on what part of the county you wish to explore.
