This is the home built by Dr. Philip A. Hilton. Dr. Hilton was born around 1894 and was a physician. He lived on the property and ran his general practice out of his home. Two house down at 317 Port Republic Road was the home and office of Dr. Chavis who occupied the home in the early 1900s before moving to Chicago.
