There are two known burials south of where the West and Williamson fence line stood. One burial is of a young boy named Samuel, who died in April 1862 at age 2 and 6 months. The second is of an unknown baby boy who died in August 1862 at the tender age of 3 months. Both children were born in Shenandoah country under the slave owner Madison West. There are a dozen or more unidentified enslaved individuals buried here.
