The Rocktown History Museum has information on the impact of slavery in Rockingham County and the African American community of Zenda. It also has Gerald Harris's original drawing of the turkey statue. The museum, owned and operated by the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society, offers exhibits, artifacts, archives, art, and genealogical collections on the history of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.
