The 150 Franklin Street Gallery is Harrisonburg’s first multicultural fine arts gallery established in 1995 by Joanne Gabbin. Gabbin is a James Madison University English professor and executive director of the Furious Flower Poetry Center. The 150 Franklin Street Gallery welcomes community activities: readings and book signings; civic and social meetings; lectures; receptions. It features original works by both local and national artists in a variety of mediums with rotating exhibits and permanent collections, and African art.
